“The Tree”
The tree
prays for
the future that―
leaves flush,
sing hopes,
and
kiss the ground
full of tears of the rising sun―
The tree
prays for
the future that―
hug of recovery
fills the sky,
spreads a pastel carpet,
and
cocoons the ground
in misty gleam―
The tree is gazing at dawn
The tree is shaking
with a blessing
